Install Chaseit on your phone

Install /chase-now as a home-screen app for a one-tap chase-day view that opens in its own window without browser chrome.

On iOS Safari

  1. Open chaseituk.co.uk/chase-now in Safari (not Chrome — Add to Home Screen on iOS only works from Safari).
  2. Tap the Share button in the toolbar (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. Confirm the name and tap Add. Chaseit will appear on your home screen with its own icon.

On Android Chrome

  1. Open chaseituk.co.uk/chase-now in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right and choose Add to Home Screen (or Install app, depending on the Chrome build).
  3. Confirm. Chaseit launches from the home screen as its own app.

What you get

  • Standalone window — opens without Safari or Chrome address bar and tab strip, so the chase-day surface uses the full screen.
  • Dark theme matched to the rest of Chaseit, with a proper home screen icon.
  • Instant access to today's synthesis, the convective outlook, and the full /chase-now experience.
  • Limited offline support — the browser may cache the last view it loaded, but Chaseit still needs to reach the server for live data. Treat it as an online app for now.

Web push notifications for severe-day alerts and a full offline cache are still on the bench. This is the install layer; richer PWA features will follow.
