SAR imagery (ICEYE)Synthetic Aperture Radar satellites that see through cloud. We use them for post-storm flood extent and ground-truth imagery.
Storm naming (MO / MÉ / KNMI)The Met Office, Met Éireann and KNMI jointly name extratropical storms that are expected to impact the UK / Ireland / Netherlands. It's about impact-based warning, not convection.
